It was such a memorable dining experience we had at Lantaw Native Restaurant in Busay, Cebu City. Prior to my sister’s wedding, we had a mouth-watering lunch out with the rest of our siblings. Once in a blue moon moment, should I say.
The place is just perfect for the special moment like that. All my siblings are there, the relaxing fresh cold air, an awesome view of the metro and great foods and drinks.
What to eat in Lantaw:
Lantaw serves fresh seafood and other native dishes. We ordered shrimp, buttered scallops, pork lechon, pancit and cordova cooler.
After the success of Lantaw Floating Restaurant in Cordova, they decided to bring the restaurant closer to the main city. That’s when they decided to open the restaurant on top of the hill. During the night, an overlooking city lights gives the place a romantic ambiance.
Be sure to call the restaurant and made a reservation to save yourself from waiting in line for an hour or two (032 511 0379).
How to get there:
From JY Square, ride a motorcycle (habal-habal) going to Lantaw Native Restaurant. It will cost you Php100 depending on your haggling skills.
